First you have to be a born again Christian yourself. Then you say In the name of Jesus I command you to leave this person! --- If you're not a Christian, they don't have to obey you. There is a story where someone tried to cast out demons in the name of Jesus that Paul preaches and the demons replied something about - we know who Jesus is , and we know Paul, but who are you? You only have the right to order them out if you are walking with Jesus. Otherwise, they can turn and jump on you. Be very careful with this issue. Lots of prayer and maybe some fasting is required. Get others to help you too.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for ruin of souls. Amen.
This is considered a "minor exorcism", though all exorcisms are performed by a priest, this one laymen can do; I think it is more for oppression that possession.

The quickest, most effective treatment is psychiatric medications prescribed by a licensed professional. I, of course, live in the year 2007 where such primitive superstitions as "devils" are no longer taken seriously.

Cast the absurd ideas out of your mind- there are no devils and demonic possession is a fantasy.

Make sure they are first. There is nothing worse then people telling you that you are possesed by demons. That does nothing for their self worth. Secondly, read Charles Kraft 'I give you authority' or if you dont have time for that say "In Jesus name get out"

Knock them upside the head and tell them to stop pretending they're possessed or you'll lock them up in a mental ward.

Ziprasidone.
It's sold as an antipsychotic medication for the treatment of schizophrenia, available in a pill or by injection. But it also stops all of the symptoms associated with denomic possession too.
Gee, I wonder why that is?

Tell them to drink some water, then hold their breath for 5 minutes. If that doesn't work then try to scare them when they are unaware.
