Dandruff is dried, flaky skin on your scalp, not your hair. The best treatment I've found for it is Selson Blue with Conditioner (the other makes too many tangles). Put it in your hair when you first take your shower, and leave it in while you shower, only rinsing it out at the end.
If you are having trouble with your actual hair turning white, not just flakes, you need to see a doctor.

Use a shampoo designed to handle dandruff. ok get off the dandruff shampoos. those should really only be used once a week. they tend to overly dry the scalp if used to often thus creating an unbalanced flow of sebum(oil we naturally produce). try this it is natural and it wil help you regulate the sebum flow as well creatign and ideal enviroment fo rthe hair to grow. take a cup of apple cider vinegar and apply it directly onthe scalp. leave it on for at least 5 min. then rinse and shampoo the hair to get hte vingar smell out. i would do it 3-4 times a week until the problem goes away then i would do it once a week for routine maintenance.

well, head n shoulders worked for me, but using it too frequently resulted in serious hair loss. but it seems like for your case, your dandruff didnt go away and yet you experienced hair loss. maybe you can go to the hair specialist to find out what's wrong with your scalp if the hair loss is terrible. but just a small note, it's normal to have an average hair loss of 100 strands per day. and greying hair may be due to genetic. i'm 20 and my hair is greying more seriously than my mother.
