I low energy, muscle pain and hypo thyroid

Hello...are you seeing an endocrinologist for the hypothyroidism? Is he the one ordering the tests? Not sure about "metabolic" workup but you should be tested for pituitary problems in case your hypothyroidism is secondary to this. Low energy and muscle pain are symptoms of low growth hormone which is produced in the pituitary gland and the pituitary stimulates the thyroid. An endo can rule this out. If you don't get an answer there, try seeing a rheumatologist. There are other conditions like Lupus that he can rule in/out. This stuff cannot be left to a GP to test for...get yourself to a specialist.
