I just joined a gym, they have the following cardio machines:

treadmill
exercise bike
eliptical
stairmaster
ergs

from your experiences, which are the best, or are they all pretty much the same in terms of getting a good fat-burning work out in. Thanks.

OK,
if you don't like one of this don't do it, first you need to enjoy your time there or you risk to quit

i would do StairMaster 15 min then treadmill 30,,
you can do 1, 2 or 3, don't care just try to start minimum 20 minute then add some time,,

good luck in your training

From personal experience I would say the ergometer (I use the concept II). It will provide you with an aerobic workout and also help build upper body and leg strength and if you do it right it will also work your stomach muscles

watch this little movie by the star of the new movie 300 (Gerard Butler) and you will here him talk about rowing machines
