I am certain that they are real. In fact over fifty percent of Americans believe that they are real. I read this on one of those AOL news highlight things. I don't recall the exact numbers. It was an article about how the experts were concerned about the general population's belief in "pseudoscience." It lumped ufology in with astrology. So if one believes in aliens, they must also believe in astrology apparently. But whatever. It's a powerful way to make believers appear foolish.

Very good question!!

Think about it altogether there are more than 100 000 galaxies in our Universe, in each of which are over 100 000 stars for the sake of simpleness lets say there is an average of 5 planets orbiting every star..... are you saying Earth is the only planet to hold life????

It is very hard to believe that in all of the space and galaxies and such that we would be the only life form. It is very hard to conceive that our little planet is the only one with life....
