Today's news that The Godfather Adams has been sentenced to 7 years will strike fear into who?
Obtaining immunity for his wife - how much did that cost?
Is there an order for restitution or confiscation of assets?
How did the Police, in spite 'bugging' their house fail to obtain enough evidence to charge him with further more serious offences?
I could go on but that's enough for now.

Good questions. But he had been 'retired' for quite some time, and incredibly careful in his 'work' before that. It's no real surprise that the police haven't been able to land a punch on him.
An order for restitution or confiscation of assets is particularly interesting - especially as he can't prove that he has ever worked in his life but has assets worth over 11 million...

like most crime bosses and those into organised crime they are very " surveillance aware ". Mr Adams has been around for a good few years and you have to consider that he may have a few police " friends".
As for the sentence given,the judge probably gave him the maximum sentence he thought was appropriate.
like most crime bosses most of the dirty work was probably carried out by those involved with Mr Adams.
As for his wife, we will never know exactly what information (if any) Mr Adams gave the police so that his wife would not face prosecution.
but i have to agree the sentence does seem lenient.

Given the sentence handed down, crime really does pay. The sentence will not put off any other would be criminals coming along, encourage them if anything.

I hate to tell you this, kid... But "The Munsters" were far better than the Addams family. Grandpa Munster could knock the crapola outta Uncle Fester and Herman would put the smackdown on that wimp Mr. Addams.
