The cross has no real value at all. Imagine Christ in modern terms, and he is put to death in the USA, Would we venerate the Electric Chair or the needle used for Lethal injection?
I don't think so....the concept that Christ sacrificed himself, is what the value of the lesson is, not the means by which he did so.

What's more important? Jesus, of course.
The cross is a symbol, and an important, powerful one at that, but it serves to point to and speak about Jesus.

sillyness is back again. oh your questions and how they stick into true Christians, but we must not run from you, we must run to you with truth and pray you are saved.
WE can say look to the cross, and I understand that. BUt, its look to Jesus on the cross. If He died from a gun, would we say look to the gun. I doubt it. But, realizing the cross is where he died, its easy to give this issue respect. BUt, its just a piece of wood. What matters is that Jesus died for our sins. He says no man could take His life. He choose to give it up for all of us, so that we could choose Him and be saved, but thats the only way to be saved.
Yes, demons are experts, and they do all they can to take our eyes of Jesus and HIs truths. I do believe in saying LOOK to Jesus and not look to the cross. I am especially offended when you see Jesus on the cross. Gooodness, He isnt still on the cross. Jesus lives today, He isnt still hanging on the cross dead. He died and now He lives, and longs to save us all. WE must nver take our eyes of Jesus, never. Its not the cross, or the wood, tho I see why ppl tend to think of his death on the cross and dont realize by seeing it as they do, they do give creedance as to the method He was killed on. Would we as Christians wear guns around our necks if Jesus had been killed by a gun? I dont think so. but, I know most dont understand this, and get upset when I bring it up. So, I let them work it out amonst themselves and God. But, for me, its Jesus Christ alone. Even YOU know that. I find that fascination bud. You are further along than even YOU think.
I will continue to pray for you....

The cross was a wooden torture machine. Jesus was the saviour of the world. What do you think?

Christ is the Christian's leader; the cross is the path that our leader went thru years ago.

The death and resurrection of Christ is what's important. It's the foundation of our faith. Without the resurrection, Christianity would be a meaningless religion.

God is more important..........you're asking a question to judge between a symbol of something and the person that was a part of that symbol............just God
