I have had surgery on my foot to remove two pieces of bone back in September and all went well. But for two months now I have had mild to severe right leg thigh pain. It seems to feel better when I am on it ( I am a retail manager so I am on my feet constantly ) but when I have a chance to rest it will hurt and sometimes it will hurt even if I am on it. It aches, burns and sometimes have stabbing pains in the back of my knee plus I have muscle twitches - sometimes muscle twitches in other places to - not painful twitches (just annoying). And is very tender on the inner thigh of the right leg. There is no skin discoloriation or swelling. And sometimes it hurts to walk. I just recently seen my podiatrist and he gave me a referal to see the Physical Therapist to do some kind of Ultrasound. But the appointment isn't until the 19th of March. I just want to ask someone what it could possibly mean (what is wrong with me) Please help. Thanks.

The first thing I would rule out is radicular pain from the spine...usually caused by a bulging and herniated disc. It will typically feel better when you are up and about and hurt worse when you are sitting...which is exactly opposite of muscle pain. If that's the case, ultrasound won't do diddly squat...but don't worry, it will be part of a normal physical therapy exam to rule out the spine as a cause for your pain.

awwww sorry to hear that. if u eat any unhealthy foods you probably need to cut down on it and pray every night for your leg to stop hurting. when u have a thought of the pain you have just think of sumthin positive. it may seem a little spiritual to you but it really works. ummm because you create your own reality. so speak only positive things to yourself and stay healthy ok. i hope you get better. bi

when i had inner thigh pain and leg pain it turned out to be ovarian cyst, i mean it hurt so bad i went to the e.r, i was thinking it was due to my back also , but it was a cyst, so it wouldn't hurt to go to your gyn. for a check up . good luck

that is a natural reaction from your leg, it is caused by not letting your leg heal all the way. but i would still get it looked at.
