I have a friend his name is Ben. We hang out every Wensday at Applebee's and we go to church together. I have been crushing on this guy for sometime. All my friends are telling me that he likes me, and that he has for awhile. I cannot tell if he does or not. I have tried to send clear signals of "hey Ben I like you." If he does like me I cannot tell. When we are in youth group I sometimes catch him glancing at me. He always sits by me at Applebee's. Everytime I come up to him he asks for a high five behind his back. And when he wears a hat I always playfully take it and when I return it to him he puts his head out and clearly signals to me to put it back on his head. I plan on telling him that I like him and I want to know if he likes me. Help? What should I say and what should I do?

don't know your age, but ask him out on a casual date, like going for some ice cream, or going for a walk.

To me it seems that he does liek you becuase if you were giving him clear signals and he didnt run off or whatever then that shows a little right? and with him sitting by you at applebees and in youth group i think he does like you.. i think that you should just be blunt about it... go to him while youre alone [you dont want to ask him in front of ppl cause it may embarass him and cause him to say something he doesnt mean] and say something like "Ben, I have liked you for a while and i was just wondering... do you have any feelings for me as more than just a friend?'' Thats all i can think of for you... good luck and i hope it works out for you.

well, since both of you are so close,no harm trying asking him straight forward.Take your chance,gal!! At most even if he said no,at least you wouldn't regret having never ask,eh? And you couldn't just say that you want to be clear anout the relationship between the both of you. Trust me,worse had happened to me,had this crush for a guy for almost 3 years,and i found out recently that he isn't totally straight...which is lot worse,right?

Maybe he likes you as a friend. You know its not always bad to just start off as good friends first. Don't rush the relashionship, who knows maybe he likes you but just not in that way yet. Just take your time, don't try to push him into a corner by saying you like him all the time, let him make the move when he feels ready.

Just do the straight forward thing and ask him outright if he would like to go to a movie with you. On your date (whatever you do) take some time to express to him your interest in him romantically and see where it goes. Nothing ventured, nothing gained is the old saying.

Awh young love....... He will tell you soon just keep doing what you are doing. Ask him if he would like to do something other than after church like meet at the park or movies ask him if he wants to catch a movie with you.

I think you should go somewhere with him at a romantic place and see what he does. If he starts to talk or get nervous you know he likes you. Or if your scared to do that just get a really close friend to ask him. The friend you choose has to be a friend that you can trust.well good luck!!!!

you should ask if he has a girlfriend or not! that is always step one! and if he says no then your in! he more than likely likes you from wat u hav said but just to be sure and to avoid inbarassment you should wait to see if he asks you! o ya and one more thing if he is not getting the message or if he is a little slow you should flirt with him and try to have as much communication as possible! but you want to be careful so that you don't look desprit (sp?) or anything! good luck!

well just be striaght honest and out with the truth..but not really come out with the whole i care for you and like you stuff..work your way around it...and when your good enough to noe that he does like you then thats when you can be all like yeah i have been crushen on you for awhile and i have been wondering if you like me too..(just to confirm things)so yeah..then just take the conversation from there....

from the sound of things he likes you and i think that you should ask him out i mean you can still be friends even if he says no.I think it will be a good thing to ask him or at least tell him that you like him and see how he responds
