it seems that every time i like a guy or become interested in a guy, he ends up falling for my friend. now, i love my friend to death, and it's not like she throws herself at guys.....she's always just being herself.
so what's wrong with me? why can't i just be myself and have the guy i like be interested in me? i think i look fine, i have no self esteem issues. i just wish, for once, when i like a guy, he likes me and not my friend. (as selfish as that kinda sounds).

I guess, when she likes a guy, they may end up liking you. Or, hang out with less attractive friends (kidding). By being herself, she may be more open or shows interest, or flirts more which tends to attract guys. Just be yourself, and perhaps, be more open and happy (not that you already aren't).

I'm not sure what's going on here. so what i would suggest that you do is if you have a good close guy friend that you can ask. ask him. because it would be hard for anyone to answer that question honestly. you might not be doing anything wrong. one thing i can tell you. you are not being selfish. wish i could be more help to you

Perhaps you need to distance yourself from this friend. As much as she may be a friend to you, at least in your social life, this friend may be providing too big of a distraction to your potential guy friends. Try to go more solo when looking for guys.

Nothing is wrong with you. You're just not meeting the right guys yet.

i think you should keep your men away from your friend. Because your friend is probably really pretty =]
