Does anyone knows about people who are cousin and has children together , any story or personal experiance

yes... i have family members that have done this... funny thing is they didnt know they were related until way later in their relationship... i guess my family is just that big, lol.
but they have had two children so far.. and both of them look pretty normal. they are kind of quiet... but thats about it.

a long time ago I had a friend who was pregnant by her cousin her first cousin and she never told anyone but me because I was her bestfriend. She told people she didn't know the father. And when the baby was born, the baby was completly normal with no known health problems. I think it's sick and wrong, we ended up not being friends after the situation. She was strange anyway. It's really sad that people does those things.

First cousins shouldn't breed together because of the risk of defects. Second or third cousins probably could without birth defects to the baby. By then, the DNA in the blood has thinned out so much and mutated that there is hardly a risk.

Yeah, I worked w/ a guy who married his cousin. He didn't know until the day that he got married and saw that his uncle had sat down on the brides side of the church. He told him that he was on the wrong side and he said that he was not and that she was his niece as well. Needless to say, they had 3 kids and I haven't seen them in about 5 yrs. He was in the Navy and got thrown in jail for some child related charge. The kids seemed fine at birth, but who knows how messed up they are. If I am not mistaken they were like 2nd cousins.
Crazy!!!

My uncle lives with his female first cousin (in a relationship). He is divorced and his kids (from his first wife) are confused about it. They are for the most part good kids, but the two oldest have been in trouble with the law. While they don't have any children together, it has definitely messed up the children from his prior marriage. I like my uncle, but I really don't agree with his lifestyle right now, not to mention that I believe it is against the law!

Yes... sadly I have an aunt who had ssex with her first cousin and had 3 children. 2 of them are fine but the other one is a mess. He is in a mental hospital in the Bay Area

Unfortuantely I do. Two of my cousins had a baby together.(they won't admit it but we all know) They got extremely lucky though as the child was very brilliant and never had any medical problems. He is now 18 years old and doing great.

But are you and your cousin first cousins? I mean are your parents siblings?
The couple I know.......Her father and his grandmother were brother and sister. So there was enuf of not a direct blood line. And they had a normal child. Actually she is precious, and smart. And they are very happy together.
