The latter rain concept is mentioned in Jeremiah 5:24, Hosea 6:3 and James 5:7. It refers to the end time blessing and harvest of souls. The sealing of the Holy Spirit is found in Ephesians 1:13. When we are saved, we have the witness in our spirits by the Holy Spirit that we are the children of God and the Holy Spirit marks us (or sets a seal upon us) that we are God's purchased possession. It acts like an "engagement" ring until the day we partake in the marriage supper of the Lamb. It is the Holy Spirits "job" to prepare us to be the bride of Christ while we are in this life. To "groom" us through the process of sanctification so that when the bridegroom appears our robes will be white without spot or wrinkle (sin).

I believe one needs to look up their own Bible scripture to fully understnd it, but its easy to do. The latter day rain is when in these last days, just before Jesus comes to rapture us home, there will be a major outpouring of the Holy Spirit revelation and power and truth that will rain down upon us like never before, this is why there is so much new information now about the Bible. We will need the full understanding of Gods word to get thru in victory, and not just surface issues. The sealing of the Holy Spirit is when one is sealed by God and is labeled as HIS forever and evermore. one God knows will go thru to the end with HIm. We need that sealing soon because we have to have it before we die or Jesus comes again to take us home.
In with this new revelation and outpouring of the Holy spirit, there is more truth than ever before, and with that the devil brings in more lies and darkness too. Notice all the new new age religions now that say Jesus is not the only way to Heaven, where God says Jesus is the only way.
choose Jesus today, and be saved, and then love Him enough to obey Him, cuz without it, you cant be saved.

i found a statement about latter rain.
concievably latter rain could be Gods communications and revelations to men where such spiritual gifts fall like rain.
however if you can visulize that each gift of revelation or a dream from heaven comes with a ministering spirit and if you could see all the angels descending and visiting people in their invisible form you would truly see thousands of angels falling like rain. but thats only one interpretation. others say that angels and revelations dont exist.
as for the sealing of the Holy Spirit. well, there are angels that seal men of god there are baptisms of the spirit to confirm being born again, and there is a Greater Gift of the HOLY Ghost.
in the mormon church there are temple endowments and weddings that are called SEALINGS, and when a man and wife are sealed by the promise of the HOLY Ghost, they are covenanted to be married for ever. Thus Eternal marriage is ordained of God but the promise of the sealing has to be Blessed by the Holy Ghost before it actually becomes a marriage of eternity.
there may be other eveangelical uses of this part of the question but i think it is more commonly used in the LDS church.
however with that said i did do a word search and came up with the two links below in Ephesians.
in one of the two verses it clearly shows that some people are assured salvation even sealed or promised it unto the day of their death and beyond for redemption.

In James 5:7, the husbandman is the worker of the field, or the evangelist and the preacher who plant, water and harvest for the kingdom of God. In the Greek, the early rain is the start of the rainy season and the latter rain is the end of the rainy season. Thus, the workers in Christ is patient in receiving the fruit of his labors from the beginning of the rains until the rains cease. To be sealed with the Holy spirit means to be saved unto eternity (Ephesians 1:13). This is God's testimony and promise of the eternal security of the believer, that is that you cannot lose your salvation---God is not a covenant breaker and salvation is a covenant of the blood.

All about latter rain: http://religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/nrms/Latrain.html
If you believe in it, then "The sealing of the Holy Spirit is God marking us as His permanent possession (Ephesians 1:13-14). "
I'd encourage you to do more research on your own. Google is your friend.
