I have the same flat iron and my hair falls out with it too! If I were you I wouldn't straighten my hair that much because it obviously is not that healthy because of the huge amount of heat. Also, you should use a protective straightening lotion before straightening it just to keep it from drying out.
Remember that it is normal for about 100 strands of hair to fall out a day. For me, the hair falling out with the straightener is normal because I don't brush my hair (mine is very curly) so the strands of hair just fall out then because the straightener acts sort of like a brush. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you unless it is a huge amount, and in that case you should put the straightener on a lower setting, or cut back.

do you mean that your entire strand of hair is being pulled out from the roots, or did you hair break?
well, i guess in both cases, the problem should be with your hair. i'm just speculating though. because i dont think any flat iron would be capable of pulling out hairs. maybe you're experiencing brittle hair. if that's the case, suitable haircare products should be invested in.
and in the meanwhile, chuck that flat iron aside.
ps. during flat ironing, make sure that your hair is DRY.

You should have bought a ceramic flat iron. the on you bought was not and your hair is being burnt so the hair is falling out. stop using that one and get a ceramic iron. also please don not flat iron it every day only 1-2 times a week ok if you do it too often then the hair may break.

get rid of it. You can get a blow-dryer now that has a new way of blowing the hair dry and straigtening it all at the same time. I use a roll brush myself and just a plain blow dryer, but if this is hard for you to do - get this new dryer it takes all the work out of it, and it's much safer on your hair than a flat iron, they can really damage your hair critically,.

I have one of their mini flat irons and it literally PULLS your hair, you can FEEL it. Sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't , seems to be only when I take too thick a section though. So that could be your answer.

you need to throw it out. the best flat iron to ge tis a chi it is the only one that is 100% ceramic. meanign it sin't ceramic coated. any iron saying it's cermaic is misleading . they are all ceramic coated except for chi. ihave had mine for 5 years and never had my hair get pulled and it helps the hair not loose so much moisture.

It sounds like you have it on too hot. Try lowering the setting. The high heat cause breakage to the hair. Also, be sure to use a product on the hair before applying heat. I use Bumble & Bumble Styling lotion. It works great, and it adds shine.

definitely return it. i used to have one that pulled out my hair (it only cost about 35 dollars) but i had it for too long so i couldnt return it. but if you've only had it for 3 months then return it and get a better one. try sally hanson beauty supply. they've got good ones.
