Why not a catholic denomination?
Because the Christian churches we have today, are a result of the Reformation. So, technically, the catholic church does not belong to the denominations that came about as a result (Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, etc.)

I'm very open-minded and study the stars and Universe most of my life, and I'm quite knowledgeable on the subject of excistence, religion is a human hope mechanism created by humans for humans, I'm not saying there all wrong I am simply telling the truth. Personaly I am a Buddhist although some people don't see that as a religion.

Yes, I am Christian. I am a full gospel Christain, meaning I b elieve in all of the Bible, old and new testaments and I believe we must love God enough to obey Him to be saved. obedience leads to blessings and disobedience leads to curse. all thru the Bible, that whole theme....
I lean more into pentacostal teachings, tho there are so many various churches there, as in all denominations today. SO, I prefer to say I am a follower of Jesus Christ, fulll gospel. what God says settles it for me. Dont need any other book to proove what I believe, except the Bible itself. amen.
and I do agree that catholocism is not a denominatian. Not to be bashing them, but God says only Jesus can give absolution, total forgivness of sins. So, we know a preist cant offer that to us. This is false. and also they pray to Mary and the saints, God said to pray only to HIM> God the father, God the son, and God in the Holy Spirit, all three operating as one, blessied trinity. and to none other.
I am anxious to see what comments you get.

Christian - non-denominational
Denominations are divisions in the church -
1 Cor 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Cor 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Cor 11:18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
