The expression is "sow your wild oats."
To "sow" means to spread or plant, especially seeds; it is the opposite of harvesting.
The idea here is one of planting seeds but not knowing or caring what they grow into later. It is often used to mean "go and fun and do wild crazy things when you're young, because you won't have the chance to do so when you get older and settle down."
Also, it is often applied to young men who want to flirt and have sex with lots of women to get this urge out of their system before they settle down and get married. The unspoken warning of this phrase is to be careful what you do/sow/plant, because you may reap negative consequences later, such as an unwanted pregnancy.

The phrase is, "sow your wild oats", and it means...."go out and fornicate". (Have unmarried sex.) It is a double-standard in our society that boys and men are expected to "sow their wild oats" before getting married, but women are expected to remain virgins.
"sow your royal oats" is just another version of the "wild" one above.
Think of the word "sowing" and "oats" in the above sentence. It implies spreading seed around on the ground. Get the picture?

Well I guess you could "soil" your royal oats. It would be rather disgusting but basically you would crap on your seeds then spread 'em.
