Too many. As you read here, many think that they were once Christian, or at least have investigated the bible enough to justify their unbelief. Thinking they have their answer about Christianity, they have never truly known or loved God. If they had, they would not be here maligning those that still believe, because they would know that God exists. There is still the hope that they will find God. They have to just step over the lines they have drawn for themselves and believe in the possibility that there is a God, that He will show Himself as real, and that Jesus is the way to find Him. Pray that God will open their eyes to see the truth, and that the His love will break through into their lives as light does in the darkness.

I'm so shocked that there are so many people including world scholars who do not believe or question GODS creation...
Don't you think there might be some legitimate reason that people have found your theology full of holes? Maybe this is just the sort of fact that should make you take a closer look at the historical accuracy and integrity of your holy text.
You wrote: Please buy a Bible and READ IT!!!!!
I have a Bible, read it through twice and studied different parts in isolation in five years of weekly Bible study. I came to very different conclusions than you have by doing so obviously.
I have different beliefs than you, you are entitle to believe what you want and I certainly won't interfere. Doesn't make it a fact nor give you the right to tell others what to think.

Robert,
I believe that the Baptist Church believes in what they are doing but they are not totally following everything that GOD had written in the BIBLE as I see it. I am not saying this to infuriate you but to ask that you and I discuss this matter further. Please send me a note if you want to do so. I will respond as soon as I am medically able. I am a Non-denominational Christian who does not believe that a Church should make decisions for other churches. Those decisions must be made locally by their Elders. The work of Elders and Deacons is discussedc in Paul's Letters to Timothy. There are a few other things that I would probably disagree with as well. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend, young Baptist.
Thanks,
Eds

Hey, I'm an EX-Christian, I know all about Christianity and part of the reason I rejected it was because of the whole human sacrifice deal. If your God was so almighty, why not just forgive humans, why the need for a human sacrifice? The concept of another person dying for you might fill you with joy, but I fail to see how telling someone that they are responsible for an innocent man being humiliated, tortured, and killed, is beneficial.
Also, where do I want to go when I die? One of the many halls in Asgard....not heaven.

I don't know why anybody bothers with questions like this because most people that come here have already decided what they want to believe. What you really need to do is live a Christian life and let people that you work with or come in contact with frequently see the difference in your life. If there is no difference, then you need to read the Bible some more.

I own a bible. I've read it more than once. Reading it is what convinced me that it was no more than folklore.
PS. My family is Baptist. I never want to be like them. They're some of the most bigoted, close minded people I've ever known.

You poor deluded fool. Wasting so much of your life on Christianity. It's too bad you've never learned to think for yourself.
