started really working hard one week ago on eating right, and I decided that I would only weigh myself once a week. Well, today was my weigh day, and not a single pound gone!!! I am so discouraged because I have worked really hard, eating right, and going to the gym all week, doing tons of cardio!! Does it take longer than a week to get your metabolism turned around?? Someone please tell me it will start to come off!!

As your going to the gym every day, you might be turning your fat to muscle which is why you don't lose any weight try going to the gym 3 times a week for an hour and a half, and a gentle walk for half an hour on the other days

Do it for a month and keep doin what you're doing...if you're doing what you say you are, then even if you lose fat....you are probably also gaining muscle which is why you haven't noticed anything yet...give it a good month of proper eating and exercise. It takes time...you'll see a difference soon enough just keep working hard.

Also three keywords I like to tell people when starting a workout is motivation, discipline, and knowledge. It's one thing to go out and do it, but it's another thing if you go out and do it right. Good luck!

Give yourself at least two weeks. Maintain your plan an weight. Do not always depend on the scale but the mirror too. measure yourself and see if your body is changing. But two weeks is a good rule of thumb to see some change.
