The assertion fails under modal logic, for one thing.
Richard Dawkins tried, unsuccessfully, to use that same argument against a group of Christian philosophers. He could not refute the ontological argument, but his attempt to use the ontological argument to 'proove' an absurdity was quickly refuted with modal logic.
