i have had a boyfriend for 8 months, and he is beyond amazing. but he lives in texas ans im in illinois and we only get the summer to see each other. its really hard and ive been having like doubts lately...like whether i should see other guys but keep this guy a big part of my life. i really do love him, i care about him more than anything...and i feel so bad for doubting. he was really understanding and said that i shoudl do wahtever makes me happy adn he will always be in my life. its just so hard not having him here, and alot of it is that i want to prove to myself that he is the only one for me, cause i know hes the best. so what do you think that i should do?

u are probably young so live life... these types of relationships are not sustainable unless there is a plan for someone to move soon...

i say see other guys that way you wont be putting your life on hold and in the summer you can still see your bf. you get the best of both worlds. never put your life on hold for any guy no matter what you think you are in. there is always someone else always right around the corner. I'm not saying your not in love with your bf. but there is a long distant thing going on here,so why not see other people nothing serious have fun go out who knows maybe you just might meet the next Mr right. you will never know. give it a shot. it beats sitting at home being bored waiting for summer to come to see your bf for a few weeks then doing it all over again next year then what if you to break up? look at all the wasted time you spent. just please go out and have fun remember your not looking for anyone else but your not -not looking for anyone else either. make sense? good luck and happy hunting

I think the first thing u have 2do is 2try some free time and thinking.Second i think u should try 2have a relation ship with another person, if u see that ur doubts still excist then u should leave him, if u try 2have this other relation ship and even if this guy is adorable 2u and everyone and u just dont feel anything 4him, follow ur heart its easy

I feel for you I Moved to texas.Acroos the country for my Bf also,,,Had the same Problem.But He recently moved here : ).
I would say That it is a hard choice but that It would be good to atleast give dateing a change...Stay Friends

If you love him Move to Texas. Or have him move to by you.
Although, If your thinking about seeing other people maybe you should just break it off completely.
