Napoles was a damn good fighter but i think Hearns' power would've been to much for him. Hearns was a Welterweight with the power of a Lightheavy. He crushed Pipino Cuevas, who was a damn good fighter himself (i think people tend to forget how good Cuevas was before Tommy smoked him) and Jose would suffer the same fate because he would be right in front of Tommy, and if you stood right in front of Tommy back in those days, forget about it! Hearns by KO in 3.

We will have this fight take place before Napoles skin got soft because Hearns would open him up more than any fighter did. Napoles had a good chin so Hearns power advantage is nill. Napoles had enough power to keep Tommy honest. Napoles was a smart fighter and would get to Hearns often. I like Hearns jabbing ability but he wouldn't do it enough and Napoles would take advantage of that. Napoles lands more punches per round and takes the decision. Would have been a good fight.

Hearns drops the right, another Latino fighter hits the canvas. Tommy's right hand was made for straight ahead macho fighters, and Napoles would have been to brave for his own good.

Hearns by KO in three

Hearns pastes him inside of 7 rounds. As long as Napoles doesn't hang one of his owns bombs on the Motor City Cobra's chin before Tommy can land his bomb.

Hearn's withering left jab and mind numbing right hand would render Napoles unconscious by round four.
