Another reason I'm working two jobs, is so that I can keep paying for my custidy lawyer and be able to have my kids back with me. Right now they are with there father for the majority of the time, which by the way I can't get back, time that is.....

it's cool. my mom is a correctional officer and she works the night shift. she hasn't changed it yet, because most of the school activities for my younger siblings is during the day and she can't go to them if she works during the day. so there's nothing wrong with that as long as you're happy and your family is happy,

There's nothing wrong with working night shifts. Someone has to provide a roof over your heads, food on the table and clothes on your backs. Some jobs offer more money per hour for working nights and people gotta do what they gotta do just to survive.

I used to work nights, and I loved it. Working nights worked well for me, because I was able to come home, get a few hours of sleep, and still be able to play with my son, eat dinner with my family and put my son to bed before I had to get to work the next night. So, I think it's okay when you work nights.

I work third shift too. I can't complain, I have three kids. I've learned to sleep while they're in school.

Who stays with them at night? I don't see anything wrong with you working night shift if it works for you and your children. You have to do what you have to do!

Are you looking for validation? If so, ask your kids. If they are happy you are doing a good job.
