I think they are, because everytime I encounter one, I just flash my crucifix at them and they go away. Try it. It really works.

Possibly. They lack love in their hearts, they have forgiveness issues and they do not know Jesus. strangely enough, a lot of these people will call themselves Christians, but they are not. The majority of people who call themselves Christians cannot even tell you what the characteristics of a Christian are. I am not saying that a true christian cannot be mean from time to time, because they can be. But chronically mean people or mean-spirited people have not the Spirit of God dwelling in them. Galatians chapter 5 give the details of the person who walks in the flesh and the person who walks in the Spirit. Anyone who regularly is contentious with people has a deep spiritual problem that only the blood of Jesus can cure. Forgive them and pray for them. If you contend with a contentious person, then you are wrong. Silence is better than trying to converse with them if you think that you might lose your temper, what what is even better than that is to tell them "Jesus loves you" and to say it with a smile. The crucifix will not always work, particularly if the other person has a loathing for the church.

*chuckle* Yes, and only demon-possessed folks hate for a religious symbol to be practically shoved up their noses. Being a non-demon-possessed person, I get all giddy and euphoric when a crucifix or star of David or pentagram is so close to my face, I could lick it.

Idols and crucifixes are alot of mumbo jumbo. The devils are warded off by faith in Christ, and the his power over death.
