IT MAY NOT BE NORMAL, BUT IT COULD BE BASED ON WHAT TYPE OF SHAMPOO YOU USE OR HOW ITS STYLED. IF YOU PULL YOUR HAIR BACK TIGHTLY, THIS COULD BE WHY YOUR HAIR FALLS OUT.

Actually, I did ask a doctor about this once because I was losing 30-40 hairs a day (I wash daily). She said that it is absolutely normal to lose up to 50-60 hairs a day. So, for 3 days worth, that's okay - I'm pretty sure you aren't going bald! lol :-)

From the American Hair Loss Council website below:

Normal hair fall is approximately 100-125 hairs per day. Fortunately, these hairs are replaced. True hair loss occurs when lost hairs are not regrown or when the daily hair shed exceeds 125 hairs. Genetically, hair loss can come from either parents side of the family.

a lot of it depends on water. did you recently move or were you visiting another country? it could also signify lack of proper nutrients, especially protein since a lot of protein is required to grow new hair and keep existing hair healthy.

try changing shampoos---i know when i use herbal my hair falls out a lot, but with pantene it doesn't as much.

another thing is --when was the last time you got a hair cut? sometimes, if it's been a while, it will result in more hair loss..

it is definitely normally to lose hair everyday and especially after shampooingk, but urs might be a little on the high end.

also, try to comb your hair a little after it starts drying and don't blow dry your hair as much if you do already.

use conditioner, but don't rub the conditioner on your scalp. also, use warm water--never HOT water on your head/hair.

hope this helps!

Well do you straighten it often? because that can affect your hair. it is normal to lose maybe 50 hairs a day.

Hair loss is the result of mal-nutrition, lack of haircare ,stress, dye or coloring hair too much which makes it so weak.
