My fiancee' told me her watch was broken and asked if I could take it in to get fixed and I replied "No, there's a clock on the oven."

she is your fiancee soon to be your wife and she simply ask you if you can take the watch get it fix... and you said no there is oven clock on it... wow, I don't understand why you not want to do that. I done alot for my wife... so you try to say that enough reason for her to be mad at you???
Of course, it shows you lazy, don't want to drive over there get it fix, don't want go to bank get money to get it fix, you don't love her, you just want to do what you want to do... and even if you worked hard come home not want to tell her tha tyou love her or do anything suprise her...
You know, really person you going to be married you should always support her and she will do for you.. if she didn't then why are you planning to marry her??? and You know what she like and you know what she hate, like, love, do, know her personality.. now you getting married soon some day??? seem you don't know your woman long enough. Commucate with her and tell her you sorry for notice that I not being a wonderful Dumb A@@ man to you....
So think twice before you do anything and fix it and if you can't go fix the watch then you can fix your soon to be married.

That's no reason to be mad. It's simply true. And the lazybutt should take her own watch in to be repaired.
At least you didn't say....hey fatass....it wouldn't hurt you to get off the couch to go look.....you can barely fit a watch into that chair what with the remote, potato chips and beer you've got packed in there.
Now that....maybe.

That's definately the best possible answer you could have given as far as comedic value goes and I wish I had a girl I could be that smart-assed with and get away with it. She should definately be able to laugh that off after a few minutes of shock irritation.

If you were serious, why is there an oven in your cave?
If you were joking, I hope you both laughed, then you took the watch in for repairs. Your future wife should know you enough to appreciate your sense of humor.

It's not really a big deal. If she is a stay at home fiance or whatever then who cares. She can go look at the damn clock on the stove. If she works and doesn't cook everyday then it was kinda stupid, but still not a big deal. tell her to relax.

I thought it was cute, I like a little sarcasm. I would have patted my.."hot pocket" and make a quip reminding you that, "The "clock" on my "oven" doesn't seem to be working, and that I'd be fixing that one on my own as well"

Depends. If you're a typically smart-azzed guy who happens to think his answers are witty and amusing then maybe she is annoyed at answers like that.
If not, perhaps she had a bad day?
Or maybe she does favors for you and she expected one back--no hassle.
At any rate, I think it would be in your best interest if you apologized and took the watch in.

You should know women by now. They love care, tender words. She is angry because you were sarcastic. wrong move. If you had made a promise or say something nice, she would have kiss you. Learn buddy, slap them but always pamper.

not really, especially if you meant it in a jokey way. anyway, she should get it fixed herself, why do you have to get dragged into it!
and if she was pissed because you sounded sexist, she shouldnt have asked you to do something technical for her as if shes some sort of poor defenceless stupid little woman.
i hate women like that, selectively feminist if you know what i mean.
