Your point being that he gave power away. It's a good point.

I think I understand what you mean. If God's power doesn't extend to forcing/making us to make our decisions then his power is not infinite at least in an area. I think u should remember that in your own words 'God gave' and if he gave he can take away.
God is an enigma in some ways and I think he really is all-powerful. He can give us freewill and can also take freewill away which fortunately He doesn't want to.
thanks for the 2 points by the way

I think that I understand your question. For example, when I come to a stop sign, do I turn left or right, and no matter what I choose, ,,,,,was God planning on it. The answer would be NO. Another example........ I have turned away from him many of times and I know for a fact that this was NOT what he had planned for me. I found this out by miracles that have happened in my personal life. You wouldn't believe them , if I told you. OR at least that is how most people react.
On a deeper subject, it is mentioned in the bible that Jesus could have called on legions of angels to come and rescue him. I believe that it was his decision to let the crucifixion happen or not.
So, yes God does NOT always know what decision you will make. BUT, you can rest assured that HE IS WATCHING with his witnesses.

Those answers amaze me. People will continue to cling to bad theology no matter what questions are posed. There would have been nothing you could do to explain it, God tests, God humbles Himself, it's a mystery, God wants, hopes, wishes, pleads with us to work our will in His heart. Try maintaining sovereignty with a broken God and an innocent Man, it ain't possible. You are right, is what I'm saying, the only theology that makes sense is a damaged Man with free will to head off to Hell as he pleases, God MUST choose, predestine, foreknow His own if we are going to even be able to call it salvation. Anything else is just self-serve.

He is all powerful. Just because He has the power doesn't mean He uses it all the time. We have to of our own freewill ask for His help and that allows Him to use His power in our lives on our behalf.

Of course He is all powerful - but He is also a God of justice, Law and restraint. He gave us freewill and allows us to use it. That does not negate the power of God - that shows the restraint of God. He has the ability (power) to override our free will but He chooses not to do so (restraint).

How do you know? If he gave you free will to think on your own, isn't that enough. to figure out, what free will is. You say what you chose, you eat what you chose. you dress the way you chose. you go where you want to go. So if God is not all powerful as you say, then please pray tell. God could of made it so people has to live the way he tells them. I guess you have no idea what the meaning of free will is.

Well, that might be true if your free will were absolute. The expression "free will" refers to your freedom to choose to follow God or not. You do not have the free will to kill yourself if God determines that it is not your time to die. You don't have the free will to choose to live if God decides your days on earth are over.
Back to your question . . . God certainly has the power to make you follow him. The fact that he chooses to allow you to make your own choice means not that He lacks power, but only that He chooses not to exercise all the power that is available to Him.

What makes you think that God is omnipotent in the first place? That is an anthropomorphism. Theology is apophatic. I'm interested in seeing if you get that point without me having to explain it.

How is that? Yes man has the free-will to to accept God's all power of life and be resurrected.
Concept death has no power.

That is so wrong, God knows that true love can only come from someone who freely chooses to love him and is not made to love him. That is free will. And God is all powerful
