You gotta understand that you really hurt her. Even if you told her all the nice things you said here, she would just focus on the negative. It really hurts a girls confidence when told something like this. Just leave her alone. She probably doesn't even want you to call or get her anything for her birthday. Hopefully she has moves on, you need to too.
