Thanks to the person who gave me the idea for this question you know who you are. If you do believe in getting flu shots then why do you say that evolution is a myth?

Some tend to lump all theories related to evolution into one big lump. The truth is that the Theory of Evolution includes adaptation, which Christians generally accept as true and species-to- species evolution, which has far less scientific support and which Christians reject.

I believe that God created the world and everything in it. I believe that things which He created have adapted over time. I believe that all knowledge of truth, including how to fight disease, is revealed by God--who, as creator of all things, knows how they work. Based on those beliefs I could get a flu shot (although I never have and am seldom sick). I did get immunizations, I do wash my hands, I do a lot of things because I believe on acting on revealed truth.

There is no conflict between getting a flu shot, having surgery, going through chemotherapy, etc. and believing that God is the Creator of all things.

Blessings.

I don't think that mutation helps or hurts creationist / evolutionist.

I don't think evolution forces me to give up on creation either.

I don't get the flu shot, but do believe in both the flu and the flu shot.

I dont get the comparison here. But, No I dont believe in evolution as it is taught. And no I dont get flu shots. I dont think we know enough about them to think they are safe. SEeing a medical dr is ok, no reason not to. But, often God will heal you before you see a doc. But, due to the worlds changing and becoming so full of pollution now, illness does come, such as flu , etc. But, I also believe in these things being allowed to run their natural course, as it builds up antibodies. Just like ppl talking such cold meds . NO, let the cold run its course. The symptoms are there, and need to run their course, for the disease to be battled out.
Yet, God will often head suddenly, when asked in the name of Jesus. God also gave us the Doctors tho and taught them things about the bodies, and its ok to see a doc. But, dont know why you feel someone opposing evolution wouldnt be able to get a flu shot. hmmmmm? I must be behind the times, as I dont get the connection. Help us out,,,

Some Christians believe in flu shots...some don't.
Some atheists believe in flu shot some don't.
Some Christians believe in evolution; some don't.
Some Atheists believe in evolution; some don't.
Is this so difficult to see?

They don't even understand the connection between flu shots and evolution. How do you expect them to understand other parts of evolution.

I have never gotten a flu shot althought my doctor and others are always pressuring me. I never get the flu, why should I screw with my system, which has served me well. Evolution is a theory, not a fact.

i know the flu exists, i just spent almost 3 weeks in bed and two days with a fever and in dilusional altered states of mind.

however, with the existence of mercury and aluminum in most vacines, there is no way i will ever take a flu shot.

what does evolution have to do w/ flu shots, anyway?
I've never had a flu shot and probably never will-i don't worry about getting the flu--if i get it, i get it.
