I think most would think of me as pretty "die hard."

Yes. I have lots of Christian friends. Some don't discuss religion and some do.

My parents are fundamentalists. For Christmas this year I got my mom a christian cd that she loves and plays for me :) (Lucky me, its also country and I hate it, but I love my mom!)

Yeah I have a couple, I don't argue much with them because they do their own thing I do mine. most of em basically stated that they would rather be "Safe then sorry" even though they agree the evidence is pretty overwhelming against Christianity and other religions. But I think believing just makes them feel better so as long as they don't force it on me I won't force what i believe on them.

actually I probably know more (quote~un-quote) "Christians" than Atheists (and I would actually say I'm not an atheist either, I have a god concept, I would say I'm spiritual but not religious) ... but I don't spend allot of time with anyone who tries to put there views on me, more free thinkers who were raise with beliefs and dont see them as priorities in their life at this time ... I will guess that they would say they believe in a christian God but do not actively practice religion or attend church on a regular basis

Doubt I'm considered "die hard", but I am married to a christian man, my brother is lead singer of a bluegrass gospel band, and I have many friends and family who are devouted to various religions. My sister is wiccan too (don't want to leave her out).

I would be curious to know what a "die hard" atheist is. Without that term being defined, it would be difficult to know whether one qualifies to answer the question.

Most of my friends are religious. I was raised Christian. I'm still friends with all the people I was friends with when I was a believer. I have friends who are both believers and non-believers.
