You didn't give enough information... like what happen to make you two split up. Secondly, guys don't like girls that are too clingy saying they are going to "die" without him. No you won't, you will be sad and eventually after time, you will get over him.
So give it some time, let him miss you

it depends on why you two broke up. talk to him and let him know that you want to start over, or something.
