I would suggest that you pack those particular items in a ziploc bag if you are taking them in your carry on luggage. If you pack those items in your checked luggage you don't have to worry about the amount or if they are in a ziploc bag. You many want to check on the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ prior to traveling, as they have the complete list of what is and is not allowed on the aircraft with you in both your checked and carry on luggage.

Hope this helps and have a great trip!

You can only bring 3oz of liquid of the solution and it needs to be in the zip lock bag. (pint size bag) Take out of carryon bag before going through security. They want to see it.

go to this site for additional info

Technically your eye drops and saline solution are considered "liquid medications" You can take sizes larger than 3 oz, but they must be declared verbally or in writing at the security checkpoint. Here's the U.S. TSA page on that: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/specialneeds/index.shtm Europe and the UK have similar rules for medications... you can check the British Airways site if you need more info on that: http://baa.com/

If there's any liquid, to be on the safe side, put it in a ziploc bag.
