I have a wall painted with a matte finish paint. I wiped it with a moist towel and lint is all over the wall. How do I clean this without leaving lint, streaks? I've also tried a lint free towel and that didn't work...

I never use anything but a damp sponge and a mild detergent on any walls. Anything else I've tried either leaves lint or marks the paint.

A very soft brush will take the lint off without damaging the paint.

If there is still dirt as well, it might be easier to repaint...

You are going to have to repaint soon. Flat paint is for ceilings, and really cannot be washed.
