Its better to be single and wish you weren't then to be married and wish you weren't. I am not single but I sometimes wish I was. I don't think there is a worst part to being single unless you are truly lonely.

There is no worst part. You can come and go as you want to. You don't have to check in with anyone.

Not having someone there to support you is probably pretty tough for a lot of poeple. I would have never made it through some of my tough college courses if it hadn't been for the support of my g/f. A person can also become very lonely and being lonely can cause depression.

Having to pay for everything! lol At least when you are a couple, you can share the cost of popcorn and split the bill at dinner! Look on the bright side, as long as you are single, you can date whoever you want. Live it up!

The worst part is sometimes having to do everything by yourself, that is, when you have a child to raise.

Trying to find people to vacation with without people thinking I was gay. At first I thought it would be tough to dine alone, but then I started going to the diner and eating at the counter...You know what, others do it too!

I wouldn't want to grow old alone...I have 3 kids and a husband. If something happens to my husband, hopefully my kids will be around to see....and I love my baby granddaughter!!

My boyfriend recently broke up with me. So I guess I'm single. I'm definitely not over him...I'm still in love. I know he wouldn't hurt me this much if he really didn't love me back. Being single after a breakup is rotten.

loneliness, you want a companion that you can sit down and talk to, do things with nad have fun with someone who shares the same beliefs and values as you, and someone who completes you. When you're single you don't have that special person you can share a bond with.
