We just bought a Britax Decathalon last weekend. I like the car seat, but the thing tilts forward way too much. My poor son looks so uncomfortable. We are using the latch system in our car (We have a new Saturn Vue) and it appears that the latch straps are so short (they barely reach to our latch system in our car) that the base of it is pulled so tight against the back of the seat of the car that it angles forward. He is uncomfortable and doesn't like it. My mom has a Graco in her car and he's happy as a cat in that one, but the Britax one, he doesn't like it. He's angled forward way too much! Has anyone had this problem? Is there any way to fix it? We have the adjustable straps as long as they will go. Help!

I'm not sure how a Saturn Vue is designed but I do know that my Graco fits perfectly in my Toyota 4Runner but if I put it in my friend's Nissan Xterra, it leans forward a lot... maybe it is the vehicle and not the car seat?

i imagine Britax is puffed up for the money. i actually do no longer help a organization that announces they are all about protection, yet then propose their vehicle seats ahead face at age one. As on your options, i could flow without the wings. Its more suitable own decision. we've 3 for the time of in our vehicle, or maybe contained in the truck with 2 seats i imagine the wings get cumbersome again there. (dont assume to upward thrust up to 70 kilos out of this seat, our 8 year previous is 60 kilos and four'9") (lengthy lasting seats have about a 17 inch genuine slot and 40 lb RF limits, and rear dealing with is recommended to age 2 or older.) My vehicle became wrecked, 3 seats for the time of. 2 Sunshine babies Raidians and a $40 Wal Mart Cosco Scenera on passenger aspect rear dealing with. fortunately no babies were contained in the vehicle. the vehicle became hit passenger aspect and flipped. All seats were intact, jointly with the Cosco. so as that they do make it through some impression crashes. i'm no longer particular if a baby could be whipped round more suitable, besides the undeniable fact that the seat did not crack.

I am not sure about the Saturn Vue or the latch hooks. I have the Britax Roundabout for my girls and I use the seat belts. I think they work just as fine, and I have not had any problems, they seem as comfortableas can be.

Call your local Health Department. They will either help you get the car seat fitted into your car correctly or give you the information on the people who do that in your area (all areas have a group that does this). Also, I think most car dealerships offer help with this as well (I think).

Call your local police department. They should be able to help you get in into your car.
