Boil it whole in lightly salted and buttered water. A 2 pound lobster should take about 15 - 17 minutes after the water is already boiling. Just don't under cook it or you'll get a nasty surprise.
You can't really season it until after its cooked so basically you can just dip in in butter or some other sea food dip.

First make sure the lobster is alive, Then next get a pot fill it with water and a can of beer and get some e old-bay seasoning some garlic and bring to a hot boil. Then get throw the lobster in the pot until it turns red. It is really scary. The lobster will scream for help it's kind of sad but the best thing is the tail and the claws. I usually by them like that because I feel sorry when I steam them. Anyway, once all done get you some butter and lemon and get down.

Now this question I know, my family is a lobster fishing family. Now depends on how many yoour cooking, if its say 4 take a large pot with about 5 tbsp of salt...bring to boil...put lobsters in (i usually put face down first, kills them quicker) and wait until they turn red...and when you pull the antena off it comes of easy, but if u have to tug then its not ready. If its a large pot with about 15 lobsters put in a good palm full of salt...best way is to use seawater. Good luck and enjoy!
