Sometimes I wonder if these questions are serious or people that have nothing better to do. I don't mean to be rude but are you serious?
Why are you on Yahoo and not at the vet with your pet? Do you love your dog? You should careful pick the dog up without moving the neck and bring her right away to the vets. It sounds serious. Dogs DO NOT cry for nothing. Please take it right away and not waste any more time here.

For the life of me I can't understand questions like this. Common sense is to take your dog to a vet. If you can't afford to take you dog to a vet then you shouldn't have a dog. So many question get ask about their dog health and ask here what should they do. I just can't figure that out. You choose to own a dog..It is up to you to make sure that dog is taken care of..Something like this ..that dog should have been at the vet by now. This is just unreal to me.

TAKE HIM TO THE VET! if its swollen and he can lift his head with out yelping then it sound pretty serious!

Definitely should go to the vet, especially because of the swelling, does not sound like a simple sprain

Take your dog to the vet right away. It may have a spine injury that needs a diagnoses to prevent further injury.
