I would, but then somebody would accidentally drop a rice-cake into a bowl of water, and forget about it for a week. Before you know it, that soggy rice-cake has begun fermenting, creating an alcoholic broth.
If that happens, then we'll need to ban rice-cakes, and I don't want to live in a world without rice-cakes; not now, not ever.
For the good of rice-cake lovers worldwide, we must never allow Prohibition to be re-enacted!

It will never work. Alcohol is such a big industry in the U.S. that they will just pay off Congress to shred you petition and get on with the next issue. Trust me on this, it didn't work the first time, and it won't work a second time either.
