Help! How do I make printable versions of my PowerPoint presenations without having to create a new file or maintain two versions (slideshow and printable versions) of my presentation? Please at least tell me where to start... Thanks.

sorry, I don't think I asked the question properly... there are some elements in my slideshow that I don't need to appear in the print-outs, i.e. photos / animation elemtns that will be on top of each other on print-out, etc...

besides the normal print options (color / grayscale / b&w and "remove background image"), what other things can I do?

if i am not mistaken, i should be able to edit each slide for printing, i.e. that I can select some items not to be shown on the print-out.

Any version of PowerPoint will print your slideshow nicely without any problems. Just go to the print dialog box and hit print.

If you are an advanced user, you may use File, Print Setup, but usually the slides will print very nicely. Just push file print or ctrl p. You can also go into file, print preview to see how it will look on paper.
