I would think its the Great Wall of China, which separates the two countries.

Well there's the Gobi Desert, The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, Tianaman Square, etc.

Probably the Great Wall in China. It does not separate the two countries. Mongolia has some pretty sweet grasslands and yurts.

This is an interesting question, because if you ask the local chinese, they will have about a dozen local "famous" places.

But the one obvious landmark would be the great wall of china. Since it straddles both countries in several locations, is a world heritage site, and is pretty neat too.

Man-made: I would say the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.
Natural: the summit of Mount Everest on the border of Tibet (annexed by China).
