i need something to say to my moms to convince her to let me get another cat I love cats!

Claim that the other cat has kitty depression and needs a new friend or needs anti depressants from the vet. Good luck

Tell her that you will take all 3 cats with you when you leave home and go off to school or off to start your own life.
Research apartment prices in the area that will accept 3 cats so she can see that you are serious. Tell her how you will pay for going to school and the apartment that will take 3 cats. Do your homework.
I think she is afraid of you running off and leaving her to care for your 3 cats.

Why doesn't she want another cat?? Does she do all the work with the current cat??
Show her that you can and will do the feeding and cleaning, and care of the cat. Maybe get a parttime job so you can help with vet bills etc. That will show her you are responsible and serious.

Tell your mom why you want the cat. Tell her that your other cats could always use more "friends". Explain that you will take care of it and clean the litter box, feed it, etc.

What i did to get my three kittens is brought a kitten from my friends house that they were selling and showed my mom, she could't reseist it so she said she would try to talk my dad into it. She finally did and on that day we went and got it. The next day my brother wanted one so we got my little kitten's brother to take home to MY brother. Then my sister wanted one so i got another little sibling for my sister and surprisingly my dad didn't know we got another two for about a week or so.

Well just tell her that the first cat needs a companion and it would make you very happy and try bribing her that always worked for me

You can start by researching the perfect breeds for you and your family and then show your decisions to your mom. She may consider it since you took time to look for your perfect breed.

Ask her very nicely and promise her that you'll be very responisible with it, i.e. taking care of food/water/etc. That might work, and good luck.

if you have a younger sibling(s),have he/she ask your mom if he/she can have a cat.P.S.if you have a fish in your room ,supervise cats or don't let them in.
