Take him to the vet. I had an older cat that I adopted from the animal shelter and it walked OK, but when it sat down, it had to keep one leg sticking to the side. The belief is that he had been possibly in accident, but he seemed to cope OK, otherwise.
Don't take a chance, in case something needs to be mended. The vet is the best person to advise you (possibly xrays, etc.) It might cost a bit but it is the only way you will have peace of mind. And you don't want your cat to suffer. Good luck -- I hope everything will be ok.

She want to be taken to the vet urgently. there is fairly some issues might want to reason this: purely a suitable exam can tell. i wager there is an danger she will be able to wish to be positioned to sleep. besides the undeniable fact that there's a danger therapy might want to be conceivable. extra useful to be courageous and take that danger. in case you attempt to deny that is happening and want she'll get extra useful on her own the possibilities are extreme she will be able to die and probable in fairly some soreness. by the way, because you're contained in the united kingdom it truly is a criminal requirement for vets to have an out of hours service. So telephone the vet now!

He probably did break his leg. Sometimes you can't tell because the leg is swollen. My kitty broke his leg and we couldn't tell. We finally had to take him to the vet and he broke his leg just above his ankle. I would take your cat to the vet and have X-rays done. If you wait too long and it is broken, it may severly displace causing your cat to have pins and a plate put into it's leg. Good Luck

maybe he pulled something maybe he broke something or maybe he just has something sharp in his foot like a thorn or piece of glass itd be impossible to determine without examining his foot you should go to a vet if the problem persists

Good God, take the poor thing to the vet.
If it's in pain and can't walk on it and hurts him when you touch it, take it in and have a professional check him out and get pain meds.

How do you expect anyone on here to know if it is broken? We can't see the cat or feel the cat. You need to get your kittie to the vet asap and ask him. I can't believe these people who ask these kind of questions and don't take care of their animals.

why are you on the computer??? go bring him to a vet!!! the poor things in pain! even if its not broken they can at least prescribe something for the pain, remember, kitties can't just go to the medicine cabinet and pop a couple tylenol, they depend on us to help them when they hurt.
