People say that God favors no one, but the bible states differently, and God choses the Jews as his fovorite people;
then he choses anybody else as second best.

Hell was never intended for people. God created hell for Satan and the angels that followed him. After the fall of man, it is now also a place for those who follow Satan, either by commission or omission.

Hell is a part of Christianity. To believe in heavan in the Christian sense is to imply hell.

The Christian God is strange because if something is all knowing and all loving and all powerful - then how come people are capable of offending it? It seems God is limited in it's capacity to prevent this and is constrained to only being able to punish after the fact.

I think there is a greater God that can beat this smaller mean god up and protect us from it.

In the scriptures, God began with the Jews people, and through them extended his salvation to all races. It had to start with someone. In this case, it was the Jews. But it did not end there. Rather the Bible says that in Christ "there is neither Jews or Gentile, male or female, slave or free, but all are one".

God chose the Jews because we are the most hated, persecuted, stubborn, and thick headed people in the world. But most of all He chose us because we respect Him and follow His laws. Anyone can confirm to God's laws and become part of Israel as long as you are in agreement with Him.

I love these kind of questions. So many contradictions arn't there?

Take a look at Zoroastrianism and that period of history.It is the root from which this all sprang. They started the hell thing.

Peace!

First came Zoroastrianism then Judaism, Christianity and Islam, them the Bahai. All from the same root! All branches off the same tree, Zoroastrainism! Start at the beginning people.

The bible does not say that. God chooses everyone, but most do not choose God. That is why there is heaven and hell.

Hell exists so that God can show his mercy by sending people there to fry like bacon for all eternity (in His mercy).

To J.C. Redding: Yes, God sends them there. He sends them there when they don't believe like God wants them to believe, even if they never had the chance to hear his gospel, the so-called "Good News". (Good news! If you don't believe me, you're going to Hell!)
