Why is it all the religious people can spew their beliefs with no reprecussions and yet those of us who question get in such trouble.. I swear if any of you pray for me I will spit.

Ok meant a bit of disrespect with the whole praying/spitting thing. I'm just so tired of everyone thinking because I question God, I need to be saved. I'm happy, healthy, and believe there is something (god?god's??) out there, just searching for information so maybe one day I can make an informed decision, without it being shoved down my throat, or people thinking I'm goddless just because I question.
But why is it we(labeled "non-believers") are attacked, and all we are doing is asking questions...it's not like I'm going out there and commiting murder or something.
Don't most religions practice tolerance...I think they need more practice!

Here's the thing- this is the religious section of Answers.
The place to post questions about religion is here. Now, if you don't have questions about religion, you are free to post on a more appropiate section- philosophy perhaps.
Really, friend; you don't see me posting to Automobiles, or anything else that doesn't hold my interest.
Unless you just like arguing. But I think that non religious folk are really fascinated by Religion

Truth be said, we don't have 100% freedom of speech here on Answers. Y! censors what it wants to, I've seen it happen. I mean, the very fact that we have Guidelines tells us that freedom of speech is not granted to us 100% on Answers.

That's too bad, 'cause TWSIDR keeps getting into trouble, and so did Cornfunkel. Man, she was hilarious!

It's about tolerance. The problem is atheism isn't a religion so people don't feel that they have to "respect our beliefs" and don't have to pussyfoot around us. It's ok to bash the atheist as it's not religious hatred or intolerance.

Try not to concern yourself about someone Else's intolerance. May I suggest that you read "Loving What Is", by Byron Katie. We are all responsible for our thoughts and actions. May your quest for truth be a path of peace and harmony.

No, because the site is owned by Yahoo. Yahoo, being a private corporation, can put whatever they want on their site.

If you just have something to say without being censored, try blogger.

There are limits to the speech on Answers, of course. See their policy statements on unacceptable speech.
