3 Days Grace - I hate Everything About You
System of a Down - Metro
Kittie - Charlotte
Hole - Doll Parts, & Violet
Pantera - Respect
Placebo - Song to Say Good-bye, You Don't Care About Us, Infrared
Glassjaw - Siberian Kiss
A Perfect Circle - Judith
Atreyu - You Eclipsed By Me
Cake - I Will Survive
I don't know if all of these songs were intended for heartbreak or not but their lyrics portray that side to me...if that makes sense....

Ha! I used to do the same thing. However, I listen to heavy metal at times. You can try Bullet for my Valentine, Korn, Slipknot, Mudvayne, but I don't know you or what you like. Dont' you have rock music on standby?

My favorite song for this situation, both because of the lyrics and because it's loud, is by Nonpoint "Alive and Kicking."
Here's part of the chorus:
I'm stronger now, even after everything that you did.
I'm still alive and kicking.
I'm better now.
I'm awake now.
I can see everything in front of me, now.

I have done well with Linkin Perk -- especially "One Step Closer". Most rock music helps with anger, but I've also found Eminem to be extremely cathardic.
