I don't dance at all and my son is getting married in one month. I will be expected to dance at least once with my new daughter in law and want to know what is the best one step for me to learn. Obviously it needs to be simple.

The waltz would be a simple but elegant dance to learn. It is fairly easy to learn and do. BTW, I think it's sweet of you to want to learn something to dance with her.

old fashion dance. Just place your hand on her upper waist, and the other grad her hand. Like the waltz or two step. Just slowly go in a circle or side to side. She will follow what you do, and a lot of the time the girl ends up leading anways, so than if she takes over just follow her. Practice with someone a family member or so before hand just to get some more one on one help.
