When do you say enough??????

I was in this relationship for 5 years. I thought that everything was going well. We had a child 2gether. Once our son came he began to change with me. I thought it was cz he felt unappreciated, but what happens was a shock to me. He started going out with his friend and spending more time at work. I came to find out that he was cheating on me with one of his old female friends. He never told her about me or our son. He is now living with his mom and seeing other woman. I tried so hard to show him I was willing to work things out. 6 months have past he just get worse he does not call to see how his own son is doing nor does he come to see him. In a week he will come once for 1 ½ hours if my son is lucky. I finally said enough!!! I told him I don’t want him around Yes he does give me money he thinks that is good enough in his part. My question is: When do you know it enough its time to let go?????

It is pretty bad when you boyfriend suddenly changes and does the unevitable, knowing that he has a son and a girl at home, cheating on you only made it worse and you made it clear that you willing to work it out, but he refused, at least he does give you money but your right that is not enough, your son is going to be lucky his dad comes to see him at all, Sure there is only so much you can take and will take, when you have had enough is when you say to yourself that you want better and you want better for your son, and you do something about and it and give him notice and tell him why, when he gets tired of not doing the things that he needs to do for the child he will get in his mind that the child needs him and he will do something about, but that will be his decision whether he wants anything to do with the child. You have done everything you can and know that you are certainly not alone by far, It won't be easy but you know that you have to move on or you will be dwelling on what could have been instead of what you should be doing.

Believe me i have been in a situation like that.
This is what you do go on with your life take care of your child with or without his financial help. You don't need him who needs to be with a cheating disrespectful person. Also just for FYI never bad mouth him in front of your child let them see for there self how the dad is and he will make his own decisions usually the right one. It's time to spoil your self find you a man who wants to be with you and only you and wants to be a big part of your sons life. I bet you when another man his taking care of his son and teaching him to be a man your ex is going to want to step in. Then the ball is back in your court you can figure out what you want to do from there.

When he left you and your children for another woman. Thats when its enough. Sounds like scum to me. Deadbeat dad. Don't waste any more time. Find a man who knows what he wants. My mom has three small children when she got remarried. My mom told him its a package deal. I now call my stepfather, daddy. I haven't heard from my biological father in years and quite frankly I'm better off cause he was no good anyway.
