Yes dogs can sense when you are pregnant they are very in tuned with the enviorment around them and sense the slightest changes.

I was pregnant when i got my baby girl dobe, and i swear that she knew i was pregnant with my second child before i did(wouldnt have been hard, i didnt know till i was 18 weeks). Dogs can be trained to sense certain disorders in people, so why wouldnt they sense a pregnancy. Plus when a womans hormones change eg pregnancy other things change, like her favorite perfume doesnt smell the same on her. If there are things a person can pick up then why shouldnt dogs. My baby girl got more protective, more gentle with me, more gentle with my kid, more touch needy(which she wasnt before and she still just likes to be around me but not necessarily touching me), and she loved to rest her head on my belly while i was pregnant(maybe she could hear the heart beat). She also seems to know when a child or adult needs a gentler touch. She has worked with disabled people and the elderly. I like to think that my dog is that sensitive to me and no one will change my mind.

yes they can, a dog can hear the baby's hear beat from about 7 weeks. The dog usually see's the pregnant woman as his girl and when they become pregant they believe that "his girl is pregnant" and sometimes becomes protective. But my dog new my friend was pregnant from word go.

Animals can sense different things going on with human bodies. I know my cats behaved more adoringly towards me during my pregnancies.
I know of a woman who worked in a zoo. When she became pregnant, the deer became so upset in her presence that she had to avoid their cage until after her baby was born.

I believe that they can. I find our dogs are more cautious and sometimes protective of people who are pregnant, or who found out later that they were pregnant. If they can tell when someone has cancer, why wouldn't they be able to tell someone was pregnant?

WELL MY MOM TOLD ME THAT WHEN SHE WAS PREGNANT WITH ME OUR DOGS WOULD ALWAYS GO AND PUT THERE EARS CLOSE TO HER STOMACH!!OH AND THE DOGS NEVER REALLY LIKED HER!!LOL!!
