I think its amazing how much people and cultures have changed.
Of course a man should marry a woman he had raped in those times, because otherwise the woman would be shunned and no one would take her as a wife.
Could you imagine how the world would be like now if no one obeyed God? and those lover's of evil produced more and more. I'm glad God destroyed them when he did.
Regardless, these bible stories do not persuade me either way to believe in God or not. God called me to him, I am grateful!

The Ten Commandments are from the Old Testament. Christians will fight to the death to keep them posted everywhere possible.

Most of the Ten Commandments come from DEUTERONOMY

Funny how we pick and choose which rules we follow.

I'm particularly fond of stoning my children to death when they're stubborn and rebellious. DEUTERONOMY 21:18

I'm also looking forward to when my virgin daughter is raped so I can get paid 50 sheckles! DEUTERONOMY 22:28

How many times will non-believers start trouble over these scriptures they, in their infinite wisdom, can't understand? God is speaking to barbaric man here thousands of years ago in a culture where great man killed and conquered eachother and women were possessions. Try reading the new testament to see what the new covenant is for us today.

well of course these are bad .
but you have to remember that this is not the bible in its true form ,the bible has been rewritten over and over to pleas the Masters and leaders of that time ,that's why I'm not a christian there are to many different copy's gospels and they are all not fit for this age and time .
there are more things that you haven't shown ,like their is something about how a women is poison .

And the context of these verses is what?
You gotta do the who, what, when, where, why, thing-if you don't, then you can mislead someone with these verses.

When George Washington said "charge", did he mean use your master card or visa?,,, or did he mean 'throw the switch', how can you know outside the context of the passage?

I don't think you understand the underlying messages that these verses are trying to teach. Try looking at the context of the passages and then try to figure out what is really meant by it.

What is your point? If you continued to read on you would see that picking and choosing pieces and parts will not educate you further but deem you to miss-understanding and reprisal. Read the whole book little one!
Hmm!

it never ceases to amaze how so many people like to choose certain verse from the bible to distort, have you even read the other verses and chapters around these verses to fully understand the true concept here

extracting verses and presenting them out of context does all a disservice. Perhaps if you chose to learn and discuss each passage in context, you would not be so troubled by them.
