I am making French Toast Puffs that have to be deep fryed at 350 until golden brown. I do not own a deep fryer nor do I want to purchase one at this time. Any know of an alternative to using a deep fryer? Thanks!

put oil into a pot and use that as a deep fryer. You don't need a deep fryer the only plus side to them is they tell you the exact temperature.

I don't have a deep fryer, and I love to fry french fries and stuff like that. What I do is fill a medium saucepan half way with vegetable oil. I keep it on top of my stove and change the oil after a few times using it.

Use a heavy pan. Heat the oil in the pan and use a thermomitor to check the temp. At 350, when you drop a drop of water in, it sizzles and pops. (You could bake them in a baking dish with just a little oil on the bottom and cover with foil. Place them in single depth and bake 10 minutes and then remove foil. Bake just long enough to make crispy on the outside.) This is a healthier alternative.
