I love Marilyn Manson.

Just wondering what you think about him.

Oh and I know this isn't music but he is a religious controversy so I thought this would be a good place to post it.

I'm farrrr from a goth, I'm actually very girly and a part time model. But I like him because he's sooo interesting. I read his book, and I have a lot of respect for him too. He's one person I'd just like to just sit down and talk with you know?

Oh and one more thing, I listen to Marilyn Manson's music a lot and I've never commited suicide...LOL...I think that a lot of messed up kids are attracted to his music, but I think they would have commited suicide if they listened to his music or not. A sane person doesn't just sit down and listen to a cd a decide to kill themselves, if that was true I would have killed myself the first time I heard Hilary Duff's cd.

F#(king 'a... why can't the whole MM thing just die? that and the EMB "goth" music out there. it was the batCAVE not batRAVE and this all started in the late 70's not the mid 80's or 90's

! specimen, Alien sex fiend, bauhaus, joy division, tragic black, cinema strange, siouxsie and the banshees.. ??? ring a bell anyone? how many times does a goth have to tell people trhat this brian dude, or "marilyn manson" doesn't make gothic music?

Not really a fan of his, but will admit he is an interesting person. I read his autobiography years ago. It explained a lot about why he is the way he is.

Musically, I never really liked any of his stuff. I thought the guitar riffs in the "The Beautiful People" were pretty good. Other than that, not much there for me. But, that is just my personal taste in music.

I like some of his music... but the boy is a freak. That silver outfit, the one with ****, was just too much. lol

People love to lay blame on artists in the music industry. Yet, when a kid watches a violent movie on gangs and goes out and kills people in a gang related incident... you don't hear people saying "Well, he watched Boyz in the Hood.... arrest Lawrence Fishburn and hold him accountable, since he was in the movie" (Fishburn was the wise man in the movie, btw). We certainly don't blame movies, schools, parents, etc... it's always the "music"... well, I have to agree with you, you have to pretty messed up to begin with to take music to heart and then try to kill yourself or others because of the music. I would love it if, just once, we saw a set of parents say "You know what? We're the one's that F'ed up... we didn't pay attention to our kid so he found other ways to get attention.........." Of course, we won't see that. Most parents with messed up kids would never admit they had a hand in it. But let em get straight A's on their report card and they will take credit for it.

I wont complain if I hear his stuff on the radio, but I wont go out of my way to buy his albums.

I think now he's got a great since of style. He's a unique person. He's an okay guy, I guess. I don't know him personally. But I refuse to judge him by what he's done on stage in the past, or what he does on stage, period.

Not a fan of the music. I know nothing about him on a personal level.

I like quite a bit of his music. I have both Antichrist Superstar and the greatest hits.

I don't really care about him personally. Ok, so he's allegedly very intelligent. Ok, so he's a rebel. Ok, so he's really marketing to teens (and doing it very well).

I loved it when the underground train sent the hot air through that vent in the side walk and blew his dress up.

Wasn't he brought up in a Christian home? I think he is wacked and needs to repent for his terrible lyrics and for showing up at the MTV awards with his a - - hanging out.
