I recently downloaded a patch from Microsoft relating to the change in daylight savings time -- though I wasn't told what it was when I was downloading it. After the download, it automatically/erroneously moved all of my Outlook appointments between Mar. 11-Mar. 31 and Oct. 28-Nov. 3 back one hour without notifying me. Then, after I accidentally discovered the problem I manually moved them back. But, now I can't syncronize with my Blackberry for those time periods. No matter where I make the change (on my computer or my Blackberry), the Blackberry is always 1 hour earlier than the computer. This is unbelievabley frustrating, and it affects subsequent years as well. What can I do? Please don't tell me to restore my old Windows settings or restore my Blackberry to factory settings. I am looking for a fix that i can implement easily on my computer and/or my Blackberry. If one doesn't exist, so be it.

And you don't want to take the advice to use your System Restore to a point before you applied that patch...because??

In case you haven't heard, Daylight Savings Time is changing to the dates you mentioned, starting this Sunday. The patch fixed all your appointments and then you un-fixed it.

Try using System Restore (in Programs > Accessories > System Tools) to roll your PC back to a date before you installed the patch. Then, re-install the patch and let it modify Outlook.

Then, clear your Blackberry and re-sync it to Outlook.
